Make rigidbody follow/be influenced by an array of Vector3s

Hey guys, I'm making a 2D game where I want an object to follow an array of Vectors that are determined by a line renderer that the player draws on screen. The object has a constant force along its relative y, and has a clamped max velocity. The object slerps its rotation toward the first point, but the current velocity sometimes overshoots sharper turns and then ends up behaving oddly. I dont need it to follow it perfectly, just be influenced to move along it's general path. I was looking at move position but not sure if this is too accurate. Cheers
